Our History

Founded in 1970 by William C. Nolte, Nolte’s Service & 24 Hour Towing started as a repair and towing location with six tow trucks. Over the years, we have earned respect by doing the job properly and at a fair rate. In 1998, Mr. Nolte sold the business to Jerry Hitchcock and Keith Mustain, who together previously owned a large auto repair shop called Automotive Specialists.

Chuck Anderson, the current co-owner, started working for Automotive Specialists in 1995 and joined Nolte’s in 1999. In 2002, the company moved to its current 5,000 sq ft facility on a 15-acre property.

Growth & Expansion

In 2010, Chuck and Lisa Anderson purchased the business from the previous owners, and since then, Nolte’s Service & 24 Hour Towing has continued to grow. In February 2012, they acquired Towstar Towing Service in Appleton, WI, expanding our capabilities. Today, the company operates with 24 tow trucks, trailers, and shop vehicles, employing 30 full-time personnel.
